Installation and adjustment of side meridian subracks: Side Warp Tension Adjustment on the Winding Frame

Adjust the pressure of the compression spring 

on the winding shaft to realize the adjustment 

of the side warp tension. Changing the length 

of the compression spring (adjusting the posi-

tion of the nut on the shaft) is often used to 

realize the adjustment of the warp tension. It 

is also possible to change the pressure of the 

compression springs for different pressures to 

adjust the side warp tension. The right warp 

tension should be greater than the left warp 

tension, generally take the maximum value 

(0.4~0.5) p, the left warp tension take (0.3~

0.4) p is appropriate (p - side of the tensile 

force of the wire). The tension of the side 

warp on the winding frame should always 

be uniform.
