gear, treadle disk shaft (treadle heald shaft), 88 teeth (or 

96 teeth) treadle heald big wheel, crankshaft belt disk, 

handwheel. 

Role of the transmission mechanism: 

to transmit power to the loom agencies; adjust the loom 

speed as needed.
