Three key points to note when adjusting the edge weaving in the weaving edge mechanism

(1) Adjustment of weaving edge opening height: the adjustment of weaving edge opening size is realized by changing the connection position of the weaving edge pull rod on its treadle, if the connection point is far away from the axis of the treadle, then the opening height increases; vice versa, it decreases, and the weaving edge opening height should be greater than that of the main round, and the opening position is in line with that of the main round.

(2) Adjustment of the upper and lower warp positions of the weaving side opening: The upper and lower warp positions can be adjusted by changing the mounting position of the side healds on the lifting bar.

(3) Adjustment requirements for the position of the side healds:

-When the side healds are leveled, the heald eyes should be in the warp straight line position, so as to ensure that the upper and lower part of the side warp tension is the same after the opening, and to achieve a stable position of the side warp weaving mouth.

-The side warp should be as close as possible to the weaving mouth; be careful not to have a touch break.

(4) Adjustment of the weaving edge closing time: Changing the installation position of the weaving edge treadle cam on the treadle shaft can realize the adjustment of the weaving edge closing time. The left weaving edge closing time should be the same as the main synthesized time; the right weaving edge closing time should be much earlier than the main synthesized time. When the sword hook holds the weft running to the right, and the sword hook is about 300~400mm away from the right net edge, the right heald should be in a flat state.
